This project sprung from quiet moments of grief  in Senn Playlot Park in Edgewater while witnessing the passing of autumn. Digital pinhole photography, which uses exposures of several seconds to obtain a reasonable exposure, enables a slow and contemplative relationship with nature.

The photos were then turned into outlines of color shapes using software, and those outlines were then laser-engraved on to acrylic. The images were then printed out on transparencies and placed under the acrylic with an inch gap.
